Things no one told me
No one told me that being pregnant feels no bit as scary as every one makes it sound.
No one told me that having a full grown baby inside of you is pretty much exactly as weird as you think it is.
No one told me that when the baby falls asleep in the womb, they drop like dead weight and I would feel like I'm walking with a Bowling ball between my legs.
No one told me that you would practice breathing inside of me, or that I would be able to see it happen.
No one told me that when a knee sticks out it doesn't actually hurt....it just kind of freaks your brain out.
No one told me that I would cry over food.
No one told me that your whole body changes. Not just your belly. Everything is swollen, puffy, and your face doesn't even look familiar.
No one told me that I would feel so scared in the beginning...but that in the end I would feel full of love.
No one told me that sleep is possible.
I have slept well thus far.
No one told me that I would forget to pay bills, forget to plug my husband's phone in, or forget about what day of the week it was....so very frequently. Pregnancy brain is very real people.
No one told me....these things. So I felt very scared and unsure during pregnancy. Was that normal, am I ok? Is he ok?
